Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA)

Add an authenticator app for an extra layer of security.

Two-factor authentication protects children’s data by asking for a one-time code in addition to your password. We strongly recommend it for every staff account.

  1. Go to More → My Profile → Security.
  2. Tap Set up authenticator app.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
  4. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.
  5. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — they let you back in if you lose your phone.

Each time you sign in afterwards, you’ll be asked for a fresh code from your authenticator app.
